Parhelion
Pilot programme
We're looking for our first commercial solar plants, where Parhelion can show what it can do in real-world operation. You get monitoring and findings free of charge. We get real data and your feedback.
- €0for Parhelion and our work, throughout the pilot
- 0 deviceson the roof. The data your inverter already collects is enough.
- Any timeyou can end the pilot. Just send us an email.
Why a pilot
We have blind-tested Parhelion on tens of thousands of simulated plant-years and on a first real plant. What it needs now is something no simulation can provide: real faults on real plants, and a full winter.
- 91%
- of faults found in blind tests on 1,500 simulated plants
- 98.6%
- of findings point to the correct string
- 0
- false findings in 69 days of data from the first real plant
How the pilot works
The pilot has no fixed length. We plan for at least three months, ideally including winter, because winter is the hardest season for any model.
- Day 1
Application
You fill in a short form. Within two working days we get in touch to arrange a half-hour call.
- Week 1
Connecting the data
You give us read-only access to your inverter portal or send us a production export, plus any documentation you have.
- Weeks 2–4
Twin and calibration
Parhelion builds a physics-based model of the plant and spends three weeks learning what the plant looks like when everything is working properly. If tilt, orientation or capacity are missing, it works them out from the production record.
- Ongoing
Monitoring and findings
String-by-string findings with an estimated loss and the probable cause, plus a production forecast for the next day. Once a month we go through everything together.
- After three months
Review
Together we review what Parhelion found and what was confirmed on site. Then you decide whether to continue. You don't have to.
What you get.
What we get.
The pilot is an exchange, and we want it to be fair and clear from the start: you get your plant monitored, and we get data that makes Parhelion more accurate.
You get
- Parhelion free of charge. For the entire pilot, with no fees and no commitment.
- String-by-string findings. Where the plant is losing output, since when, how much in kWh and in money, and the probable cause.
- Production forecast. For the next day, hour by hour, with an uncertainty band.
- Loss outlook. How a detected fault will develop over 30, 90 and 180 days if it is left unresolved.
- Regular reviews. Once a month with our analyst, and a summary report at the end.
- Help with repairs. We recommend the next step and, if you wish, arrange the service work. You know the price in advance.
- A say in the product. Your feedback takes priority in Parhelion's development.
We get
- Read-only access to data. Production data from your inverters, ideally per string. We change nothing at the plant.
- Documentation, if you have it. Modules, string layout, tilt and orientation.
- Service history. What was repaired, cleaned or claimed under warranty, and when. It tells us which findings correspond to real faults.
- Feedback. What helped you and what didn't. And confirmation of a finding when it is checked on site.
- Consent to anonymised use. We use the results to make the model more accurate. We will not publish your name or logo without your written consent.
Who the pilot is for
Places in the pilot are limited. Priority goes to commercial plants that have a production record and keep a service history.
What you need
- A solar PV plant in the Czech Republic: on a factory or warehouse roof, a commercial building or an agricultural site, or a ground-mounted plant.
- A production record in the inverter portal or a datalogger, ideally per string or per MPPT input.
- Several strings are an advantage. Parhelion compares each string with its neighbours.
- Willingness to share your service history and to spend half an hour a month on a review.
What you don't need
- New hardware or a sensor on the roof.
- Complete documentation. Parhelion works out tilt, orientation and capacity from the production record.
- A fixed-term contract or any payment.
- Data expertise. We explain everything in kilowatt-hours and money.
Terms at a glance
- The pilot is free of charge. You pay nothing for Parhelion or for our work.
- It has no fixed length. Either party can end it at any time; an email is enough.
- Your data stays yours, and we only have read-only access to it. When the pilot ends, we hand it over to you on request and then delete it. We keep only anonymised summaries that cannot identify you or your plant.
- You pay for the work of service companies, parts and travel, and only according to a quote you have approved in advance.
- Continuing after the pilot is possible only under a new written agreement. No charges arise without your consent.
- During the pilot, Parhelion is still under development. We provide it as is, with no guarantee of availability.
The full wording is in Article 5 of our terms of service. Our privacy policy explains how we protect personal data.
Frequently asked questions
How much does the pilot cost?
Nothing. You pay nothing for Parhelion or for our work during the pilot. You only pay for the work of service companies, and only if you approve a repair yourself.
Do we need to install anything?
No. Read-only access to your inverter portal or a regular production export is all we need. No roof sensor or new hardware is required.
Which inverters do you support?
Parhelion works with production records from manufacturers' portals and dataloggers. We have verified the GoodWe connection on a real plant; other brands we connect through their portal or an export. We agree on the exact method during the introductory call.
What if Parhelion doesn't find anything?
That's a result too: you'll know your plant is running as it should. You get a production forecast and a comparison with the twin, and if something goes wrong during the pilot, you'll find out in good time.
Who will see our data?
Only authorised Sunalytiq staff. We do not sell the data or pass it on to anyone. Anonymised summaries are used only to make the model more accurate.
What happens after the pilot?
At the final review, we will propose the scope and price for continuing to work together. You don't have to continue, and you pay nothing without your consent.
