Accessibility
What we focus on
We build the site so that it can be operated with a keyboard, read by a screen reader and used with enlarged text. We follow WCAG 2.1 at level AA.
- Every page has one main heading and a logical heading structure.
- You can tab through all the content, focus is always visible, and it stays inside open dialogs.
- Text colours meet the required contrast, and information never relies on colour alone.
- Images have text descriptions, and decorative graphics are hidden from screen readers.
- Animations are toned down when visitors have reduced motion turned on in their system settings.
- Forms have labels and error messages, and explain every error in words.
Where we fall short
The 3D model of the plant is a visual demonstration. Everything it shows is also available in the text and tables alongside it. The downloadable study is a PDF that is not yet fully tagged; on request, we will send you its content in an accessible format.
